I recently visited the Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya, located along Pattaya Beach and adjacent to the Hard Rock Hotel, and would like to share my review.
Enjoy Live DJs and Bands at Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya
I was staying at the Hard Rock Hotel, so visiting the Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya felt like a must-do. While the prices are a bit high, I considered it resort pricing.
The Hard Rock Cafe is situated along Pattaya Beach, with direct access from the Hard Rock Hotel’s pool. The cafe features a striking neon sign at its entrance, accompanied by a large display screen showing music videos. It feels like a symbol of Pattaya Beach.
On this particular day, there was a DJ set in the evening. DJ visuals were displayed on the screen. The speakers on the terrace provided pleasant sound. The DJ, who appeared to be older, was spinning records in a rather mellow style, focusing more on continuous play than complex techniques. Personally, I prefer something more upbeat, but I suppose it varies by day. It’s essential to check the time and schedule with the staff.
On a different day, I enjoyed a live rock performance indoors. The female vocalist started with an Alicia Keys song, her voice was fantastic. Afterwards, the guitarist took over vocals, and they performed various covers. The sound system was excellent, making for a quite authentic live show.

The “Legendary Steak Burger (599 THB)” was delicious! The meat was high quality, perhaps freshly ground. It had a strong meaty flavor, and the cooking was perfect. As a Japanese diner, I felt it was almost too good for a burger! It costs about 2,500 JPY. It was truly a luxurious item. I enjoyed it with a “Gimlet (199 THB)”. I could choose the gin, so I opted for “Beefeater,” a brand I recognized. Perhaps because I was so impressed by the luxurious burger, the “Classic Nachos (279 THB)” didn’t leave much of an impression.
On another occasion, I used HungryHub. For three people, the original price was up to 4,341 THB, but with the deal, it was 2,990 THB, saving about 30%. You can choose one dish from Group B (luxurious dishes), three from Group C (slightly luxurious dishes), two from Group D (standard dishes), and three drinks. The “New York Strip Steak (1,058 THB)” was undeniably delicious, worth about 4,000 JPY (though it was a bit heavy towards the end as I was full). The “Legendary Steak Burger (705 THB)” was, as mentioned before, the ultimate luxurious burger. The kids’ hamburger (I believe it was the Double Cheeseburger, 705 THB) was also tasty. The “One Night Bangkok Spicy Shrimp (434 THB)” and “Homemade Apple Cobbler (410 THB)” were also very good.
Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya Recommendation Score
To provide a useful reference, I’ll assign a score similar to Tabelog (Japan’s top restaurant-review site). For Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya, which offers live DJs and bands, I’d personally rate it around a 3.2 on the Tabelog scale. I’ll note this down for future reference.
