Introduction
I recently visited the upscale pizza restaurant “Peppina” located about a 14-minute walk from BTS Phrom Phong station, and I’d like to share my review.
About the upscale pizza restaurant “Peppina” in Phrom Phong
Peppina is located about a 14-minute walk from BTS Phrom Phong station, just off Sukhumvit Soi 31. It’s about an 18-minute walk from BTS Asoke station. Peppina is located right next to “Kenny’s BKK,” another pizza restaurant I previously reviewed.
Peppina appears to have won numerous international pizza awards, including mentions like “Asia’s Top 5 Pizzas.” They also display the “VERA PIZZA” plaque, commonly seen in excellent pizzerias in Japan. VERA PIZZA is certified by the “True Neapolitan Pizza Association,” a testament to the authenticity of their pizzas in taste and technique.
The interior of Peppina is very stylish, making it a great choice for anniversaries or dates.

Peppina Menu (Photos, Prices, Reviews)
Peppina is an upscale restaurant with prices about 1.5 to 2 times higher than typical pizza restaurants. Their weekday lunch course is quite reasonable, so I opted for that. However, please be aware that drinks are expensive. Wines start around 1500 THB per bottle, craft beers are around 300 THB for a 300ml bottle, and a 750ml bottle of water costs 159 THB. Even the Margherita pizza is inexpensive: 300 THB for a small size and 390 THB for a medium. They likely want many people to try their signature dish.
The “Set Lunch Menu” is available on weekdays only. A 2-course meal is 399 THB, and a 3-course meal is 499 THB. The 2-course option includes an antipasto and a main dish, while the 3-course option adds dessert.
For antipasto, I tried the Fegatini, a chicken liver pâté served with toast on Pain de Levain. The pâté was rich and delicious, with a mild flavor that even children could enjoy. The vegetable antipasto was a typical assortment of cold dishes. The zucchini had a bonito dashi flavor, and the tomatoes and olives were savory with a pleasant saltiness, offering a variety of cold appetizer tastes.
Next were the main dishes. The Margherita was a classic, with wonderfully stretchy mozzarella cheese and a pleasant aroma of toasted dough. It was best enjoyed fresh out of the oven; truly at a level where you could visit just for this pizza. The Salsiccia Rigatoni was a tomato pasta with sausage served in thick, hollow pasta tubes. The acidity of the tomato sauce was a nice touch.
For dessert, the Tiramisu was rich with cream cheese flavor and had a good kick from the cocoa powder – very delicious. The gelato was just average.
As is perhaps the fate of award-winning establishments, it’s not exactly budget-friendly. It might be best saved for anniversaries or special dates. Even with the relatively affordable weekday lunch course and the Margherita pizza, the cost of drinks can significantly increase the final bill, so be prepared for a surprise at checkout. Personally, I prefer Kenny’s BKK, which is more reasonably priced and equally delicious, offering a more straightforward enjoyment.

Peppina Rating
To provide a useful reference, I’ll assign a score similar to what you might find on Tabelog (Japan’s top restaurant-review site). I’d rate the upscale pizza restaurant “Peppina” in Phrom Phong personally as equivalent to a 3.4 on Tabelog. I’ll leave this note here for reference.
Conclusion
Peppina, an upscale pizza restaurant in Phrom Phong, serves an exceptional Margherita pizza. While the prices are generally high, the weekday lunch course and the Margherita offer good value. It’s a suitable choice for anniversaries or special dates.
