Introduction

I recently visited the Japanese restaurant “M Station,” located about a 1-minute walk from BTS Ekamai Station. M Station is conveniently situated about a 1-minute walk from the Ekamai Bus Terminal as well. Since there isn’t much information about restaurants, eateries, and street food in Bangkok online, especially reviews like those found on Tabelog (Japan’s top restaurant-review site), I hope this review might be helpful to someone.

About the Japanese restaurant “M Station” in Ekamai

The Japanese restaurant “M Station” is about a 1-minute walk from BTS Ekamai Station. It’s also conveniently located about a 1-minute walk from the Ekamai Bus Terminal.

Many travelers visit M Station because the Ekamai Bus Terminal is a hub for long-distance buses, similar to Shinjuku Bus Terminal in Japan, serving as a gateway to various tourist destinations including Pattaya.

Since alcohol is not permitted at the Ekamai Bus Station, many travelers reportedly enjoy a drink at M Station before boarding their bus.

M Station Menu (Photos, Prices, Reviews)

M Station offers a variety of Japanese dishes, including ramen, gyoza, tonkatsu, fried chicken, curry, and rice bowls. They also have drinks like tapioca milk tea, coffee, and beer, as well as bread.

I tried several items, and personally, I found the “Spicy Char Siu” to be delicious! The tender char siu is coated in a sweet and spicy sauce, making it superb. It pairs perfectly with beer! You can enjoy a casual drink for around 200 Baht.

They also serve Jiro-style inspired ramen. Since ramen in Thailand is often served lukewarm, if you prefer it hotter, you can ask for “more hot please!! microwave!!”

M Station Recommendation Score

Hoping this might be useful to someone, I’ll assign a score based on the Tabelog scale. For M Station, a Japanese restaurant near the Ekamai Bus Terminal, I personally rate it around 3.1 on the Tabelog scale. I’ll leave this note here.

Conclusion

M Station, the Japanese restaurant near Ekamai Bus Terminal, is recommended for a pre-bus meal. Grab some Spicy Char Siu and a beer before heading to Pattaya!
