I recently visited “She Bar,” a place where you can enjoy live singing and music, located about a 19-minute walk from BTS Thonglor Station. I’d like to share my review.
About the live music bar “She Bar” in Thonglor’s Penny’s Balcony
She Bar, where you can enjoy live singing and music, is located about a 19-minute walk from BTS Thonglor Station. It’s situated at the entrance of Thonglor Soi 16, along Thonglor Road. Since it’s a bit far from the station, I recommend taking a motorcycle taxi or the red bus from the entrance of Thonglor Road (Sukhumvit Soi 55).
She Bar is a well-known bar among music lovers, offering live singing and music every day. While it’s best to confirm the exact times with the staff, the live performance started around 8:30 PM when I visited. As I’ll explain later, happy hour runs from 5 PM to 8 PM, making it ideal to enjoy happy hour drinks to get in the mood before the live music begins!
She Bar is located within a cluster of bars called “penny’s balcony.” Besides She Bar, penny’s balcony houses other bars like MELLOW, divino, and Hobs, all of which seemed to offer live singing and music. You can choose the bar that best suits your preferences based on the music genre, performance times, drinks, food, and overall atmosphere. There were also terrace seating options available.

As I had already eaten, I enjoyed cocktails during happy hour. Happy hour runs daily from 5 PM to 8 PM, offering authentic cocktails, beers, and wines. Cocktails were half price.
“Pina Colada (145 THB)” was served with a cherry and dried flower garnish on top of a rich Pina Colada. I’ve recently become very fond of Pina Coladas and often order them. “Amaretto Sour (145 THB)” is made with amaretto liqueur, egg white, and other ingredients, shaken. It was my first time trying it, and it was delicious! “Mai Tai (145 THB)” is a common cocktail in Thailand, but it has no connection to the country; it’s widely believed to have originated in the United States. I enjoyed all the authentic cocktails while listening to the wonderful music!
Incidentally, popcorn was served as a complimentary snack.
She Bar Recommendation Score
To be helpful, I’ll assign a score similar to how it’s done on Tabelog (Japan’s top restaurant-review site). For “She Bar” at Thonglor’s penny’s balcony, which offers live singing and music, I personally feel it would equate to around a 3.3 on the Tabelog scale. I’ll note that down here.
