Introduction

I recently visited “Tt Rooftop Bar x Cafe,” a rooftop bar located about a 1-minute walk from BTS Thonglor Station, and I’d like to share my review.

About the Rooftop Bar “Tt Rooftop Bar x Cafe” in Thonglor

Tt Rooftop Bar x Cafe is situated approximately a 1-minute walk from BTS Thonglor Station. You can likely see it from the Thonglor station platform, so many of you may already be familiar with it.

This establishment is located on the rooftop (5th floor) of “Nonomo Wine Bar,” which I introduced previously. Tt Rooftop Bar x Cafe is operated by the same owner. You can choose Nonomo Wine Bar if you want to drink a lot of wine, or Tt Rooftop Bar x Cafe if you prioritize ambiance.

Although it’s on the 5th floor rooftop, there aren’t many tall buildings surrounding it. This allows you to enjoy delicious drinks while taking in the beautiful view of Thonglor Station and the city lights at night.

Rooftop bars in the vicinity, such as “Octave” at the Marriott Hotel and “Tichuca,” are located on high floors (above the 40th floor) and are ultra-luxury establishments with prices like cocktails over 500 THB and food over 1000 THB. They also often have dress codes or require reservations. Octave used to have a happy hour during the COVID-19 era, but it was discontinued in 2024 (confirmed by phone).

In contrast, Tt Rooftop Bar x Cafe offers a happy hour from 4 PM to 7 PM, with cocktails priced affordably at around 200 THB. After happy hour ends, cocktails are approximately 300 THB. While they don’t serve the high-end cuisine found at Octave or Tichuca, you can enjoy snacks and Isaan dishes for around 100-200 THB.

Menu at “Tt Rooftop Bar x Cafe” (Photos, Prices, Review)

Personally, if you visit Tt Rooftop Bar during happy hour, I highly recommend ordering the “Passion Fruit Mojito (189 THB+).” You can enjoy a beautiful cocktail like the one pictured at a price that’s unbelievable for a rooftop bar. Passion fruit cocktails are rare in Japan, so I recommend it to travelers as well. After happy hour ends, the price increases by about 100 THB, but it’s still not overly expensive for a rooftop bar. After happy hour, Singha beer becomes relatively affordable, so enjoying that while taking in the beautiful night view and the lovely interior is also a great option.

As for food, they offer snacks like french fries, as well as Isaan dishes. The Isaan dishes are delivered from the sister restaurant, “Isaan Bar & Restaurant,” which I introduced before, and they are very delicious.

Recommendation Rating for “Tt Rooftop Bar x Cafe”

Hoping this might be useful, I’ll assign a score based on Tabelog’s system. For the Thonglor rooftop bar “Tt Rooftop Bar x Cafe,” I personally estimate it to be around a 3.4 on Tabelog. I’ll leave this note here.

The high points for this rating are its affordability during happy hour, low prices for food all day, and excellent cost performance as a rooftop bar, especially with the good ambiance and the night view that begins to sparkle just before 7 PM. On the other hand, after happy hour ends, the night view becomes more brilliant and the bar livelier, but cocktails become significantly more expensive, so one must be careful not to drink too much thinking it’s still cheap. Singha beer is relatively inexpensive, so enjoying that is also a good option.

Conclusion

“Tt Rooftop Bar x Cafe” in Thonglor is recommended for those who want to enjoy a rooftop bar casually. Especially towards the end of happy hour, you can enjoy a wonderful time with affordable drinks and food as the night view begins to sparkle.
