Introduction
I recently visited the fried chicken specialty restaurant “Polo Fried Chicken,” located about a 10-minute walk from MRT Lumphini Station. I’d like to share my review.
About the fried chicken specialty restaurant “Polo Fried Chicken” in Lumphini
Polo Fried Chicken, a specialty fried chicken restaurant, is located about a 10-minute walk from MRT Lumphini Station. It’s directly across from Lumphini Park.
There were so many customers that I couldn’t capture it in a photo, but Polo Fried Chicken has received consecutive Michelin Bib Gourmand awards for the past several years, and many foreign tourists were lining up.
“Polo Fried Chicken” Menu (Photos, Prices, Review)
I ordered the “Fried Chicken (Half) 140 THB.” As expected of their signature dish, it was undoubtedly delicious. This is the Michelin-awarded fried chicken. For someone like me who prefers stronger flavors, I felt that “Thonglee” in Asoke might have been more to my taste, but that’s a matter of personal preference. Both are delicious.
I also tried the “Som Tum with Dried Shrimp 70 THB.” I initially wondered, “Som Tum from a fried chicken place…?” but it was a very delicious Som Tum. The flavor of the dried shrimp was prominent and excellent.
The “Isaan Sausage 70 THB” was also undeniably tasty. I enjoyed it with ginger and green chili.
Polo Fried Chicken isn’t just a fried chicken place; it feels like a restaurant that serves Isaan cuisine at a very high standard.
By the way, a large bottle of “Chang Beer” was an unbelievable 80 THB. It’s hard to believe it’s a Michelin-recognized establishment.

Recommendation Rating for “Polo Fried Chicken”
Hoping this might be helpful, I’ll assign a score similar to Tabelog (Japan’s top restaurant-review site). I’ll note down my personal rating for “Polo Fried Chicken,” a fried chicken specialty restaurant near MRT Lumphini Station, as approximately 3.4 on the Tabelog scale.
The delicious fried chicken and Isaan dishes are definite highlights. It would be even better if the fried chicken had more addictive, crave-inducing qualities.
Conclusion
Polo Fried Chicken, a fried chicken specialty restaurant near MRT Lumphini Station, is recommended for fried chicken lovers. The Isaan dishes are also delicious.
