Introduction
I recently visited the Japanese yakiniku restaurant “Ginzado Sukhumvit Soi 26”, located about an 8-minute walk from BTS Phrom Phong Station, and I’d like to share my review.
Note: This location is slightly different from the “Ginzado Thonglor Hotel Nikko Branch” which I reviewed previously, so I’m reviewing it separately.
About the Japanese yakiniku restaurant “Ginzado” in Phrom Phong
Ginzado Sukhumvit Soi 26 is located about an 8-minute walk from BTS Phrom Phong Station.
Ginzado is a well-known high-end Japanese yakiniku restaurant chain in Bangkok, famous for its great value weekday lunch sets. While dining at Ginzado in the evening can cost between 1500-2000 THB, their lunch sets offer authentic yakiniku starting from just 280B++.
At the Thonglor branch (Hotel Nikko), the “Weekday Lunch” offer is strictly limited to weekdays. However, the Phrom Phong Sukhumvit Soi 26 branch currently extends the weekday lunch menu to weekends and public holidays. Furthermore, the Sukhumvit Soi 26 branch is housed in a standalone building, offering a more upscale atmosphere, which I personally prefer. Due to its popularity, reservations are essential.
The restaurant also has a connected butcher shop offering takeout of raw meat and hamburg steaks.

“Ginzado” Menu (Photos, Prices, Review)
I ordered the “Yakiniku Lunch (Assorted Kalbi)” for 280B++. This set includes unlimited refills of rice, soup, namul, and kimchi, along with a choice of coffee or dessert (sorbet) after the meal.
As with the Thonglor branch, the meat quality is quite good for the price. I felt, perhaps coincidentally, that the meat here was even more delicious than at the Thonglor branch. I imagined that the high customer turnover might contribute to the freshness, but it could just be a variation. As usual, I enjoyed the yakiniku while taking advantage of the unlimited refills.

Recommended Rating for “Ginzado”
To provide a helpful reference, I’ll assign a score based on the Tabelog scale. For Ginzado Sukhumvit Soi 26 in Phrom Phong, I personally feel it would equate to around a 3.7 on Tabelog (Japan’s top restaurant-review site).
The high rating is due to the ability to enjoy delicious, high-quality yakiniku at a very reasonable price, not just on weekdays but also on weekends. Ginzado is one of the most highly recommended lunch spots among the many options in Bangkok.
Please note: It’s uncertain how long the weekday lunch menu will be applicable on weekends. Please confirm with the restaurant directly.
Conclusion
“Ginzado Sukhumvit Soi 26” in Phrom Phong is highly recommended for those who want to enjoy authentic Japanese charcoal-grilled yakiniku. Their lunch offers an excellent balance of cost and quality, allowing you to savor delicious charcoal-grilled yakiniku.
