I recently visited the rich chicken paitan ramen restaurant “Nanase Ramen” in Thonglor, located about a 2-minute walk from BTS Thonglor Station. I’d like to share my review.

Nanase Ramen in Thonglor is situated about a 2-minute walk east along Sukhumvit Road from BTS Thonglor Station. It’s located on the north side of Sukhumvit Road (on the odd-numbered soi side).
Nanase Ramen is a famous restaurant with its main branch in Chiba, Japan. It landed in Thonglor in 2015 and now appears to have several branches within Thailand, including in Asoke and Phrom Phong. When it first opened in Thailand in 2015, a bowl of ramen was only 80 THB – that’s so cheap!

Nanase Ramen offers a very extensive menu. There are around 20 types of ramen alone, plus rice bowls, lunch sets, and side dishes like fried chicken and gyoza.
Most ramen bowls are priced around 150 THB, which is considerably cheaper than the 250 THB charged at other ramen shops. The portion size is slightly smaller. I highly recommend trying their signature dish, the “Nanase Chicken Soba.” I was genuinely impressed that such a rich chicken paitan ramen could be found in Bangkok!
Nanase Ramen Thonglor: Recommendation Score
To be helpful, I’ll assign a score based on Tabelog (Japan’s top restaurant-review site). I personally feel Nanase Ramen Thonglor is equivalent to a 3.2 on the Tabelog scale. (Update: I later checked Tabelog and found the Chiba main branch has a score of 3.6.)
Conclusion
Nanase Ramen in Thonglor is a must-visit ramen shop in Bangkok. Ramen lovers should definitely try it. It’s affordable, delicious, and highly recommended!
