Introduction
I recently visited “Pink Khao Man Gai,” located in the basement food court of EmQuartier, directly connected to BTS Phrom Phong station. I’m here to share my review.
About the Khao Man Gai restaurant “Pink Khao Man Gai” in Phrom Phong EmQuartier
Pink Khao Man Gai is situated in the food court on the B1 level of EmQuartier, conveniently connected to BTS Phrom Phong station. From the Phrom Phong station ticket gates, it’s about a 5-minute walk to the restaurant. Being indoors means you can enjoy your meal comfortably, even during the rainy season.
Pink Khao Man Gai is a popular Khao Man Gai (Thai chicken and rice) establishment with its main branch in Pratunam and approximately six branches across Bangkok. It has been featured in various Japanese guidebooks and media, making it arguably the most famous Khao Man Gai spot in Bangkok.

Pink Khao Man Gai Menu (Photos, Prices, and Review)
I opted for takeout this time as I didn’t have enough time to dine in. The prices seem to be the same for both dine-in and takeout.
As with most Khao Man Gai places, the standard menu items at Pink Khao Man Gai are the “Khao Man Gai” (steamed chicken) and “Khao Man Gai Tod” (fried chicken). I ordered one large portion of each. At 95 THB, it’s a bit pricier compared to street stalls, which usually charge around 60 THB. The medium size is 80 THB.
The taste was excellent, definitely ranking within my top 3 Khao Man Gai experiences. It’s comparable to the Khao Man Gai stall on Soi 20 that I reviewed previously. The rice, in particular, was infused with a wonderful chicken broth flavor.

Since it’s a food court, you can also enjoy dishes purchased from other stalls alongside your Khao Man Gai. The EmQuartier food court is quite spacious.
Recommendation Score for Pink Khao Man Gai
To provide some helpful context, I’ll assign a score based on the Tabelog (Japan’s top restaurant-review site) scale. I personally feel that “Pink Khao Man Gai” in the EmQuartier food court warrants a score equivalent to a 3.5 on Tabelog.
The high score is largely due to the convenient location within EmQuartier, allowing easy access to such delicious food. Food courts inherently have some limitations, so it’s possible that other Pink Khao Man Gai branches outside EmQuartier might offer even better flavors or prices, which is something to look forward to.
Conclusion
If you love Khao Man Gai, you absolutely must try “Pink Khao Man Gai” in the EmQuartier food court! Its location inside the mall makes it an accessible and comfortable option for those who might be hesitant about eating at street stalls.
