I recently visited the farm “Farm Chokchai” in Khao Yai, and I’d like to share my review.
About Farm Chokchai in Khao Yai
Farm Chokchai is located north of Khao Yai National Park. It’s a vast ranch popular for its farm tours where you can experience activities like milking and horseback riding. You can find more detailed information about Farm Chokchai on other blogs.
Near the entrance of Farm Chokchai, there’s a hamburger shop called “Farm Chokchai Steak Burger,” which I’ll be reviewing today.
Farm Chokchai Menu (Photos, Prices, and Review)
I ordered the “Beef Hamburger Combo for 270 THB.” It comes with a proper beef hamburger, french fries, and a drink. I was asked how I wanted my beef hamburger cooked – rare, medium, or well-done – and I chose rare, but I received well-done. Perhaps there isn’t much difference.
Nevertheless, the patty was quite authentic and meaty. The hamburger, with lettuce and onion sandwiched between the buns, was satisfying. While it might be expected at a tourist spot, the price is quite high.
Incidentally, I was told that the “Aged Hamburger Combo for 410 THB” and “Wagyu Hamburger Combo for 410 THB” come with larger patties, but the regular beef hamburger was already a sufficient size.
Farm Chokchai Rating
To be helpful, I’ll assign a score in the style of Tabelog (Japan’s top restaurant-review site). I personally estimate Farm Chokchai in Khao Yai to be around a 2.9 on Tabelog. I’ll leave this note here.
Considering the price, it was a rather ordinary hamburger, so there are no points for high praise.
Conclusion
Farm Chokchai in Khao Yai is good as a meal break during activities, but I don’t particularly recommend it due to the high price for a standard hamburger.
