Introduction

I recently visited the pizza & burger restaurant “il Gusto” located within Jing Jai Market, a short distance from Chiang Mai city center. I’d like to share my review.

About the pizza & burger restaurant “il Gusto” in Chiang Mai

The famous Chiang Mai market, “Jing Jai Market,” is located about a 10-20 minute taxi ride from Chiang Mai city. Apparently, the pronunciation of Jing Jai Market is difficult for Thai people, so it’s better to refer to it as “JJ Market.”

Many blogs discuss Jing Jai Market, so please refer to those for more information.

“il Gusto” is a pizza & burger restaurant located within Jing Jai Market.

“il Gusto” Menu (Photos, Prices, Review)

I ordered the “BERG’s Burger” for 180 THB. It looked like a regular hamburger, but it was served cold and wasn’t very tasty. It came with fries.

I tried some pizza from another person’s order, and it was just a standard pizza.

Recommendation Score for “il Gusto”

To be helpful, I’ll provide a rating based on the Tabelog (Japan’s top restaurant-review site) scale. For the Chiang Mai pizza & burger restaurant “il Gusto,” I personally consider it equivalent to a Tabelog score of 3.0. I’ll leave this note here.

There were no particular points that stood out positively; the pizza and burgers were just average. The burger was cold and not very delicious.

Conclusion

I cannot highly recommend the pizza & burger restaurant “il Gusto” in Chiang Mai’s Jing Jai Market.
