Introduction I went to a Vietnamese restaurant called “Saigon Recipe”, which is about a 15-minute walk from BTS Thonglor Station, so I would like to review it. Vietnamese restaurant “Saigon Recipe” @Thonglor The Vietnamese restaurant “Saigon Recipe” is about a 15-minute walk from BTS Thonglor Station. Saigon Recipe is about a 17-minute walk from Phrom Phong Station. It’s a little far from both stations, so it’s better to go by tuk-tuk, taxi, or motorbike taxi. Saigon Recipe is in a mall along Sukhumvit Soi 49, but it is a little hard to find, so it is easier to find if you look for Fuji Supermarket 4 and Villa Market on the opposite side of Soi 49. If you are taking a tuk-tuk, get off at “The Hive Thonglor” in the mall. The interior was very stylish. The interior was beautifully designed in Vietnamese style, with furniture, accessories and paintings beautifully displayed. By the way, Saigon Recipe seems to have received a Michelin star. I don’t really care about Michelin, but that’s amazing! The Michelin plate is only for 2021, but […]
Introduction I went to a Thai ramen restaurant called “Bamee Kon Sae Lee” located about a 2-minute walk from BTS Thonglor Station, so I would like to review it. It’s easy to find because there are chunks of pork hanging in front of the store. Bamee Kon Sae Lee is a famous restaurant for Thai ramen, or “Kuay Teow”, and they especially serve “Bamee” among the varieties of Kuay Teow. Bamee is “noodles made from wheat flour with eggs” that are closest to Japanese ramen. “Bamee Konsalee” menu (photos, prices, reviews) First, I ordered the signature dish, “Ramen with wonton and crispy roast pork 70B” without soup. The waiter skillfully mixed the seasonings into the freshly boiled bamee. I ate it while it was still hot. The toppings were wonton, roast pork, and a vegetable that looked like komatsuna. Huh? It was surprisingly average. Rather than the bamee, the soup […]
