Introduction

I recently visited the fruit parlor “Parden” located about a 9-minute walk down Soi 39 from BTS Phrom Phong Station. I wanted to share my review as there isn’t much information available online about restaurants, eateries, and street food in Bangkok, and especially a lack of review sites like Tabelog (Japan’s top restaurant-review site). I hope this information might be helpful to someone.

About the fruit parlor “Parden” in Phrom Phong

The fruit parlor “Parden” is located approximately a 9-minute walk down Soi 39 from BTS Phrom Phong Station. It’s situated on the second floor of “Sekai no Yamachan,” with Treasure Factory across the street on Soi 39. For those familiar with Japanese fruit parlors, Parden is quite similar to Takano Fruit Parlor in Bangkok. Parden takes advantage of Thailand’s tropical climate to incorporate a wide variety of delicious fruits into its parfaits, including many I hadn’t encountered before. Furthermore, the parfaits are priced more affordably than those at Takano. In short, Parden is a fruit parlor where you can enjoy parfaits of Takano’s quality, or even better, at a slightly lower price!

Parden Fruit Parlor Menu (Photos, Prices, Reviews)

Parden offers a wide selection of parfaits. Alongside their signature “Parden Fruit Parfait,” they have various seasonal and regular parfaits. In addition to parfaits, the menu also includes items like Purin a la Mode, baked cheesecakes, freshly squeezed juices, sandwiches, and paninis.

After much deliberation, I chose to try the signature “Parden Fruit Parfait.” It contained eight types of fruit, yogurt ice cream, and passion fruit sorbet. The fruits included mango, watermelon, mandarin, passion fruit, and four others I hadn’t heard of before. The staff kindly explained each fruit using a book and photos. While all the fruits were delicious, I particularly enjoyed the passion fruit sorbet! It retained the intense flavor of passion fruit while the icy texture of the sorbet added a delightful contrast, allowing me to savor my favorite passion fruit in a new way. They mentioned it’s homemade and used in various dishes. It was truly wonderful, so I highly recommend trying it!

Parden Fruit Parlor Recommendation Score

Hoping this information might be useful, I’ll assign a score similar to Tabelog’s rating system. Personally, I’d rate Parden Fruit Parlor around a 3.8 on the Tabelog scale. (3.5+ = well-regarded)

Conclusion

Parden Fruit Parlor is a must-visit fruit parlor in Bangkok. Whether you’re a tourist or an expat who loves sweets and parfaits, you must try it!
