Introduction
I recently visited the ramen izakaya “Nojiya Yushi” located about a 23-minute walk from BTS Thonglor Station, and I’d like to share my review.
About the ramen izakaya “Nojiya Yushi” in Thonglor
The ramen izakaya “Nojiya Yushi” is located approximately a 23-minute walk from BTS Thonglor Station. To get there from BTS Thonglor Station, head north along Thonglor Road (Sukhumvit Soi 55), and then turn slightly into Thonglor Soi 18.
Since Nojiya Yushi is a bit far from the station, it’s best to take a motorbike taxi from the Pak Soi of Thonglor Road or hop on the red bus that stops a little further down the road.

“Nojiya Yushi” Menu (Photos, Prices, Review)
Nojiya Yushi offers a wide selection of ramen from various regions of Japan, along with izakaya-style dishes and alcoholic beverages. The ramen options include Hokkaido Miso, Jiro-style, Yamagata Spicy Miso, Yamagata Shonai Soy Sauce, Asakusa Ume Salt, Tokyo Tonkotsu Soy Sauce, Yokohama Ankake, Nagasaki Champon, Kawasaki Tantan, Kyoto Stamina, Tom Yum Kung, Hakata Tonkotsu, Kurume Tonkotsu, Onomichi, Miso Tanmen, Taiwan Mazesoba, Tokyo Aburasoba, Hiroshima Jirushi Nashi Tantan, and many more. They also have rice dishes, curry, side dishes, fried items, and a vast array of izakaya and snack menus – the list is endless.
I ordered the “Yuujiro Ramen” for 230 THB. I opted for extra garlic and extra back fat, which were complimentary. Extra vegetables cost an additional 30 THB. I believe there were condiments on the table for spice. After about 10 minutes, my ramen arrived. As you can see from the photo, the Yuujiro Ramen is a refined take on the Jiro-style, with a balanced, lighter flavor profile. The soup is not emulsified. The authenticity is high, and it’s genuinely delicious. Personally, I prefer a slightly richer broth, but this was the best Jiro-style ramen I’ve had in Bangkok so far.
For drinks, I tried their promotional shochu. It seems they offer discounted shochu whose bottle-keep period has expired. I got a 1800ml bottle of Akkirishima for 90 THB served on the rocks. It was definitely a good deal compared to ordering it normally, but be aware that the portion size is small (likely 60ml or 90ml), so don’t expect a large serving.
The “Noji Ball Highball” for 79 THB is also a great deal. The Noji Ball is a highball made with Thai whisky. They also have a happy hour from 5 PM to 7 PM with draft beer for 49 THB. They also offer an all-you-can-drink menu.
