Introduction
I recently visited the ramen shop “Tantanmen,” located about a 4-minute walk from BTS Phrom Phong station, and would like to share my review.
About the ramen shop “Tantanmen” in Phrom Phong
The ramen shop “Tantanmen” is located approximately a 4-minute walk from BTS Phrom Phong station. It’s on Sukhumvit Soi 33/1 (the same soi as Fuji Supermarket branch 1). Many of you might have noticed the mysterious cartoon character of a ramen-loving boy when heading to Fuji Supermarket.

Menu at “Tantanmen” (Photos, Prices, Review)
I tried the “Tantanmen 225B,” which is also the shop’s name. It’s likely their signature dish. It was a standard tantanmen with a fragrant sesame aroma, but there wasn’t anything particularly recommendable about it.
The “Shoyu Ramen 180B” was also just okay, nothing special. They have a wide variety of ramen types; I believe there were over 20. They also offer cold ramen (hiyashi chuka). Beyond ramen, their menu is extensive, featuring dishes like yakisoba, curry rice, unagi, and various Chinese dishes.

Recommendation Level for “Tantanmen”
To be helpful, I’ll assign a score similar to Tabelog (Japan’s top restaurant-review site). For the ramen shop “Tantanmen” in Phrom Phong, I personally feel it’s equivalent to around a 3.0 on Tabelog, so I’ll leave this note.
Conclusion
The ramen shop “Tantanmen” in Phrom Phong is recommended for those who want a wide selection of ramen! They also have cold ramen!
