1. Kenny’s BKK (Phrom Phong & Ari, Pizza Restaurant, 3.8 points)
Kenny’s BKK opened near Ari Station a few years ago and recently expanded to Phrom Phong as its second location. It’s a wonderful place that exudes energy from various aspects. The wood-fired pizzas are, as expected, delicious, but many of their other dishes are also fantastic. It’s a pizza restaurant where you can enjoy discovering dishes, thinking “This looks delicious,” and “So does that!” They also have a wide selection of wines and craft beers. Perhaps because it’s still a relatively new establishment, the prices are quite reasonable. It can be used for dates, parties with friends, or family outings.

2. Bong A / Bon-Ga (Phrom Phong, Korean Cuisine, 3.8 points)
Bong A offers a great value weekday lunch menu that is also very delicious. The main dish comes with banchan (side dishes) and dessert. Main dishes include options like Bulgogi-style Stir-fried Pork, Sundubu Jjigae (Soft Tofu Stew), and Stone Bowl Bibimbap, all of which are tasty. The banchan, featuring 8 types of Korean side dishes, is refillable and a big hit with women because you can enjoy trying many different kinds. The spacious interior, with optional VIP rooms, makes it a versatile choice.

3. Parden (Phrom Phong, Fruit Parlor, 3.8 points)
As far as I know, this is Bangkok’s premier fruit parlor. You can enjoy various parfaits made with seasonal fruits. The parfaits are on par with, or even better than, those at established parlors like Takano Fruit Parlor, but at less than half the price. It’s a very popular spot for both expats and tourists. The Japanese owner is often present, so if you strike up a conversation, you might even get a detailed explanation about the fruits used in the parfaits. When I visited, they showed me books to explain each fruit.

4. Kiani (Thonglor, Korean Cuisine, 3.6 points)
What’s most impressive about Kiani is that you get 5 types of banchan (side dishes) like kimchi and namul for 0B, and they’re refillable! The regular dishes are also delicious, and you can enjoy Korean alcoholic beverages like Makgeolli and Chamisul. The interior has a stylish, cafe-like design. It’s always full of female customers.

5. Audrey (Thonglor & others, Cafe Restaurant, 3.6 points)
Audrey, a house-style cafe in Thonglor, excels in style, taste, and hospitality, making it recommended for various occasions. Just look at the garden and the large tree in the photo below! You won’t find many cafes like this in Bangkok. It’s suitable not only for dates but also for gatherings with friends, family, parties, social events, and even wedding after-parties. The owner is reportedly a famous Thai female celebrity.

6. Din Tai Fung (Thonglor, Dim Sum, 3.6 points)
Din Tai Fung, originating from Taiwan, is a dim sum restaurant chain with many branches in Japan, including in Ginza and Ebisu, totaling around 30 locations nationwide. In Bangkok, you can enjoy the same authentic taste, making it an essential spot for xiaolongbao lovers. Beyond xiaolongbao, they offer a high-quality selection of dim sum dishes.

8. Tt Rooftop Bar x Cafe (Thonglor, Rooftop Bar, 3.4 points)
Recommended for those who want to enjoy a rooftop bar experience casually. Especially during the latter half of happy hour around 6 PM, drinks and food are affordable, the city lights start to sparkle, and you can enjoy a wonderful time.
